Visiting the [I 046/ king's chamber] in the Great Pyramid, a Frenchman found it curious that garbage cans filled with dead cats and other small animals - perhaps having lost their way after wandering in - did not smell of decay. He went on to explore this further and experimented with scale models of the pyramid. It was found that highly perishable materials such as calves' brains could be preserved if they were placed in a model that recreated the position of the king's chamber and the pyramid's orientation. A Czech radio engineer, Karel Drbal, heard of these reports and also experimented with the pyramid shape. His discovery - of dull, carbon-steel razor blades regaining their sharpness if left in a model pyramid overnight - led to the patent of the Cheops Pyramid Razorblade Sharpener. It has not been a commercial success probably because it does not have the same effect on stainless steel razor blades and electric razors.
Pyramid Power is dismissed by Egyptologists, but there may be some basis for further study. Light passed through a flat pane of glass and a prism have different effects. Could this also be true for different types of wave energy (x-rays and gamma rays, magnetic and electromagnetic waves)? [G 008/ Dowsers] have long believed that ancient monuments and the temples and megalithic circles of Europe were intentionally built on sites where planetary energies converge. The positive and negative electrical charges produced when certain crystals were subjected to pressure (as is common with quartz) may be another possible explanation for pyramid power. Stone employed in the pyramids was chosen not necessarily according to structural and economic considerations. It is possible they were chosen for the four elements of the cosmic process they are said to represent: limestone is water, granite is fire, sandstone is earth and alabaster is air. As with a gigantic crystal that is unquestionably subject to immense pressures from the very nature of its construction, a change in property may produce a physical effect. To date, though, no official experiments have been conducted. Thus, pyramid power remains unproven.
